At our hotel, it all starts with you—our team of passionate professionals who create a seamless and memorable guest experience from the very first “hello.” We’re currently seeking a Part Time Floor Maintenance Technician to support the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our hotel and restaurant operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior hotel floor maintenance tech experience preferred
  • Pool/spa maintenance experience a plus
  • Additional language skills are a plus to communicate with international guests

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well maintained hotel environment for guests and team members
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and deep cleans in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house
  • Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests with professionalism and follow-through
  • Perform hard floor and surface care, including but not limited to stripping old wax, top scrubbing, sealing, and applying new finishes or polish
  • Perform carpet maintenance, including but not limited to vacuuming, shampooing, extracting, and steam cleaning carpets and upholstery
  • Operate various types of heavy industrial floor care equipment
  • Maintain logs, complete checklists, and report unusual findings to leadership
  • Ensure minimal equipment downtime by keeping key parts stocked and ready
  • Assist during emergencies including power outages, floods, or weather-related events
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, and ensure safety protocols are followed
  • Uphold company standards for appearance, performance, and guest service
  • Other duties as assigned by management
