About The Position

The Floor Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and standards of quality throughout daily assignments in public spaces. This role involves handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, observing all safety and housekeeping procedures, and completing assigned cleaning tasks according to franchise and hotel standards. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum one year cleaning experience.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services assigned public spaces according to franchise and hotel standards.
• Handles guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security procedures.
• Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
• Completes additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Reports any maintenance deficiencies.
• Handles guest requests or complaints.
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
