About The Position
The Floor Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned public spaces according to franchise and hotel standards. This role involves maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments, observing all house and safety rules, and handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction. The position also requires restocking supplies and completing additional deep cleaning tasks as scheduled.
Requirements
- Minimum one year cleaning experience.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and services assigned public spaces according to franchise and hotel standards.
- Handles guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
- Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security procedures.
- Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
- Completes additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
- Reports any maintenance deficiencies.
- Handles guest requests.
- Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
- Other duties as assigned.
