About The Position

Tessera is seeking a motivated and reliable Floor Crew with a professional attitude and detail-oriented to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment, maintains professionalism, and ensures high standards of cleanliness and safety. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Carpet spotting – spot clean heavily soiled carpet prior to shampooing. Carpet shampooing – operate industrial carpet cleaner to shampoo carpets according to schedule. Sweeping – sweep each area according to schedule. Vacuuming – vacuum each area according to schedule. Wet/dry vacuum – operate wet/dry vacuum for each area according to schedule. Wet/dry mopping – wet/dry mop each area according to schedule. Strip wax from floor – apply stripping solution either manually or with floor care equipment according to schedule. Fill and empty mop buckets. Mix chemicals. Clean and put away equipment after use.

Requirements

  • Valid state driver license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance carrier.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
  • A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.

  • Must be a current JBLM Janitorial employee to be considered for this position.
