About The Position
A Quality Facility Services is seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our team as Floor Care Technicians. This role offers the opportunity to earn great pay, learn a skilled trade, and build a career with room for advancement. No previous floor care or commercial cleaning experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. Ideal candidates will have experience in a service-based industry, be accustomed to working evening or overnight hours, and take pride in providing excellent service. Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience working in a service industry
- Previous experience working evening, night, or overnight shifts
- Comfortable working a 5:00 PM–1:00 AM schedule
- Willing and able to travel to different work locations
- Comfortable with occasional overnight travel for new contract startups
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Willing to learn new skills and operate specialized equipment
Nice To Haves
- No previous floor care or commercial cleaning experience required
Responsibilities
- Stripping, waxing, buffing, and scrubbing floors
- Carpet cleaning and extraction
- Tile and grout cleaning and sealing
- Upholstery and furniture cleaning
- Post-construction and deep cleaning
- Interior and exterior window cleaning
- General janitorial and specialty cleaning projects
- Proper operation and care of professional floor equipment
- Maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and work areas
- Assisting team members with special projects throughout our service area
- Traveling to new service locations to help prepare facilities and ensure new contracts get off to a successful start
- Assisting with the startup of new customer contracts
