About The Position
A Quality Facility Services is seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join their team as Floor Care Technicians in Canton, OH. No previous floor care or commercial cleaning experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have experience in a service-based industry, be accustomed to working evening or overnight hours, and take pride in providing excellent service. Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience working in a service industry
- Previous experience working evening, night, or overnight shifts
- Comfortable working a 5:00 PM–1:00 AM schedule
- Willing and able to travel to different work locations
- Comfortable with occasional overnight travel for new contract startups
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Willing to learn new skills and operate specialized equipment
Nice To Haves
- No previous floor care or commercial cleaning experience required
Responsibilities
- Stripping, waxing, buffing, and scrubbing floors
- Carpet cleaning and extraction
- Tile and grout cleaning and sealing
- Upholstery and furniture cleaning
- Post-construction and deep cleaning
- Interior and exterior window cleaning
- General janitorial and specialty cleaning projects
- Proper operation and care of professional floor equipment
- Maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and work areas
- Assisting team members with special projects throughout our service area
- Traveling to new service locations to help prepare facilities and ensure new contracts get off to a successful start
- Occasional overnight stays may be required for qualifying overnight startup assignments
