About The Position

Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Medina, Ohio, to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at a large retail facility. This direct-hire role pays $17 per hour, provides weekly pay every Friday, and offers approximately 35 hours per week. The schedule is 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with weekend availability required and a consistent seven-day schedule. Training is provided, and no prior floor care experience is required. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull floor care equipment.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Weekend availability is required, with availability to work a consistent seven-day schedule.

Nice To Haves

• Previous floor care, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment.
• Maintain hard floor surfaces by scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing.
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas.
• Perform general cleaning and restroom cleaning as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently.
