About The Position
Provides a clean and sanitary environment by maintaining hard floor surfaces, upholstery and carpeted areas of the hospital and its annex facilities following prescribed procedures.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience using buffer, scrubber, carpet extractor, and other various housekeeping equipment.
- Must be able to read and write and understand the English language to follow work instructions, directions and safety rules and regulations.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning agents and their application.
- Basic knowledge in floor care methods and techniques.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- The ability to collaborate with others.
- The ability to organize well.
- The ability to accomplish tasks quickly yet thoroughly.
- Must be able to problem solve.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of floor care experience in a healthcare environment.
