About The Position
Floor Care Technician | JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home $16.00 - $18.00/hour, based on experience Part-Time | 22hrs per week Shifts: rotating between 6:00AM – 2:00PM and 9:00AM – 5:00PM, rotating weekends and holidays At JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home, we not only provide compassionate and comprehensive care, but we are a leader in the industry when it comes to the value we place on resident care and employee appreciation!
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
Nice To Haves
- Experience in housekeeping/laundry in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, stripping, and waxing floors throughout the long-term care facility.
- Clean and disinfect floors and high-traffic areas according to infection-control and facility safety standards.
- Operate and maintain floor-care equipment and promptly report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Coordinate cleaning activities around residents, staff, meals, and scheduled activities to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
