About The Position

Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Grand Forks, ND. In this role, you'll help maintain hard floor surfaces and keep a major retail facility clean, safe, and ready for customers every day. No floor care experience is required as we can train the right candidate. This is a part-time position with consistent evening hours, weekly pay, and opportunities to grow. It is also a great supplemental income opportunity.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Ability to push and pull cleaning equipment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Weekend Availability Required
• Candidates must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays as business needs require

Nice To Haves

• Previous janitorial, floor care, custodial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment
• Clean and maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, and routine maintenance
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas
• Perform restroom and general cleaning duties as needed
• Follow safety procedures and cleaning standards
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently
