About The Position

Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Buffalo, MN. In this role, you'll operate professional floor care equipment, maintain hard floor surfaces and carpets, and help keep a large retail facility clean, safe, and ready for customers. No floor care experience is required as we can train the right candidate. This is a direct-hire position with opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Ability to push and pull floor care equipment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Previous floor care, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment
• Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas
• Perform restroom and general cleaning duties as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company standards
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently
