About The Position

Marsden South is seeking a Floor Care Technician to join their team. This role involves performing various floor care duties, including cleaning, scrubbing, buffing, stripping, refinishing, waxing, sealing, and carpet cleaning. The technician will operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment and adhere to all safety regulations. This is an essential role within an established organization that values teamwork and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old
• Must have work authorization
• Must be willing to pass multiple Safety tests
• Must have an active driver’s license
• Must pass multiple safety tests
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required

Responsibilities

• Perform proper techniques of scheduled floor care and preparation of areas to be cleaned, scrubbed, buffed, stripped, refinished, waxed, or sealed as well as carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment including but not limited to floor buffers/burnishes, water extraction machines, and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Spot cleaning of carpets as needed.
• Extraction of liquids from carpet and treat areas appropriately.
• Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
