About The Position

Join our team as a Housekeeping Utility Worker with strong floor care knowledge and experience including cleaning and maintenance of hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, and waxing as well as carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming. Also responsible for cleaning building areas, floors, and surfaces, setting up rooms for events, and removing trash. No travel required. Requirements

  • Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the community
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
  • May be required to maintain a valid driver’s license as a condition of employment.
  • Must have a history of safe driving as noted through a Motor Vehicle Record check, if driving is required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of the community through the operation of specialized equipment
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste
  • Utilize work orders to ensure proper room/furniture setups
  • Assist with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packages
  • Remove trash including, refuse and recycling
  • Maintain hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, and waxing as well as carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming
