About The Position

The Floor Care Technician provides a safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff while following quality standards. The role ensures timely cleaning in common areas, patient rooms, hallways and corridors, and surgical, procedural, and specialty environments to meet facility needs. The technician also performs additional functions as needed to support Environmental Services (EVS).

Requirements

• At least 6 months of environmental services or floor care experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of experience working in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Complete timely cleaning in common areas, patient rooms, hallways and corridors, and surgical, procedural, and specialty environments.
