About The Position

In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Floor Care Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and beautification of the floors. Assists with other housekeeping duties. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent training and/or experience required.
• Ability to follow instructions, read, and write.
• Know the proper procedures for cleaning a patient room.

Nice To Haves

• Prior floor care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strips, waxes, and buffs floors.
• Shampoo carpets.
• Uses equipment as directed.
• Knowledge of how to clean patient rooms after discharge as directed.
• Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
