About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of slot equipment on the casino floor at all times. The Floor Attendant will monitor the casino floor constantly, assist guests with minor machine problems, machine payouts, and machine fills. Key duties include clearing bill validator jams, TITO jams, and replacing TITO paper. The role involves providing customers with currency for slot machines or other gaming activities, and handling jackpot payments after obtaining appropriate approvals. The attendant will also be responsible for receiving, securing, handling, counting, reconciling, and distributing large sums of money accurately and promptly. Completing required casino forms for slot jackpot/fill slips, following procedures for re-filling, and verifying all moneys at the beginning and end of each shift are also essential. Maintaining effective working relationships, providing excellent customer service, verifying customer winnings, and explaining gaming rules are crucial. The position requires compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations. Regular and reliable attendance, punctuality, and consistent presence during scheduled work hours are fundamental requirements.

Requirements

Demonstrated knowledge of casino operations, gaming rules, and regulations.
Demonstrated experience receiving, securing, handling, counting, reconciling, and distributing large sums of money.
Demonstrated working knowledge of slot machine games and operations.
Demonstrated effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills, which include contacts with employees and guests.
Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
Ability to work well with people and create a fun environment for guests.
Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Responsibilities

Completes required casino forms for slot jackpot/fill slips and follows set procedures for re-filling.
Verifies all moneys at the beginning and end of each assigned work shift, as directed.
Maintains effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all guests and employees.
Provides personalized attention and assistance to customers.
Verifies customer winnings and explains gaming rules and regulations, as necessary.
Performs responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
