About The Position

Altus ACE Hardware is seeking a Part-Time Floor Associate for their Altus, OK location. This position offers a salary range of $9.00 - $11.00 per hour and is categorized as Retail. The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Key responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness and stock, ordering merchandise, cutting keys, mixing paint, and cutting glass/plexiglass. Secondary duties involve assisting with loading merchandise, checking in freight, updating prices, and general store maintenance.

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Good physical condition for lifting, merchandising, and loading customers

Nice To Haves

• H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
• Retail experience is a plus
• Ability to operate office machines, computers, and Excel is a plus
• Knowledge of merchandise

Responsibilities

• Help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner
• Cleaning and stocking merchandise
• Ordering merchandise
• Cut keys
• Mix paint
• Cut glass and plexiglass, where applicable
• Answer telephone
• Help load merchandise for customers
• Help check in freight
• Straightening and stocking bins, warehouses, and yard
• Updating prices
• General store maintenance (floors, trash, restrooms, etc.)
