About The Position

The Floor Assembler I performs repetitive bench or assembly line operations to mass-produce mechanical and/or electrical products. Essential Functions Hand and power tools are used to assemble parts according to product specifications. Assemble parts, components, or units in a specified relationship to each other. Identify units that fail tests and repair as necessary. Package assemblies as required. Run machines, including arbor presses and riveting machines, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on the assembly line. Achieve production efficiency and quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Rotate workstations according to business and production needs. Adhere to work schedules. 6:00 a.m. to 230 p.m., 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. With some mandatory overtime. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience using hand and power tools.
Work under moderate supervision.
Rotate work areas as needed.
Attention to detail and quality focus.
Excellent attendance.
Physical ability is essential in this position.
Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, or hear.
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to climb ladders to extreme heights.
Occasionally lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
