The Floor Assembler performs repetitive bench or assembly line operations to mass-produce mechanical and/or electrical products.

Requirements

Experience using hand and power tools.
Work under moderate supervision
Rotate work areas as needed.
Attention to detail and quality focus.
Excellent attendance
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Minimum of 1 year of continuous experience operating a sit-down forklift.

Responsibilities

Use hand and power tools to assemble parts according to product specifications.
Assemble parts, components, or units in a specified relationship to each other.
Identify units that fail tests and repair as necessary.
Package assemblies as required.
Pick and pack orders from LSL Lumber using the order sheet provided each week.
Run machines, including arbor presses and riveting machines, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on the assembly line.
Achieve production efficiency and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Rotate workstations according to business and production needs.
Adhere to work schedules.
Other duties as assigned.
