About The Position

This position is for a Floating Universal Associate II at First Citizens Community Bank. The role involves providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and assessing customer financial needs to suggest appropriate bank services and products. The Universal Associate II specifically handles new accounts and teller responsibilities, including cash, vault, and ATM operations. They are responsible for opening and maintaining various types of customer accounts, including deposit accounts for consumers and businesses, IRA/SEP files, and deceased/estate accounts. The position requires understanding operational procedures, demonstrating analytical and decision-making skills, and contributing to the bank's sales culture. The role averages 38-40 hours per week, including some Saturday mornings, and may involve filling in at other offices for vacations. Requirements

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
  • Ability to quickly learn position-related software.
  • Ability to effectively use general office equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and courteous customer service.
  • Process customer transactions in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner.
  • Exemplify FCCB’s standard of delivering exceptional customer service every time.
  • Assess customer's financial needs and suggest Bank services and products.
  • Actively participate in and promote the Bank’s sales culture and referral programs.
  • Maintain daily transactions and balances, research outages, and balance the drawer in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Follow proper procedures and complete tasks in compliance with banking regulations.
  • Identify customer needs and develop solutions to exceed customer goals and expectations.
  • Constructively interact with co-workers.
  • Processes transactions and handles cash, vault, ATM responsibilities, etc.
  • Opens and maintains deposit accounts for consumers and businesses.
  • Completes all necessary maintenance on customer accounts.
  • Responsible for maintaining IRA/SEP files.
  • Performs a variety of operational duties and data input functions.
  • Processes deceased and estate accounts.
  • Understands a variety of operational procedures.
  • Demonstrates good analytical and decision-making skills.
