About The Position

The Teller works in a fast-paced, fun environment with opportunities for advancement.  Tellers provide a variety of teller account services such as handling deposits, withdrawals, payments, greeting customers and maintaining accounts. The candidate should provide a professional image and be the face and voice of our company.  This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to work in a relationship business; get to know customers and genuinely care about their financial well-being by providing solutions to meet their needs.

Requirements

• Monday - Friday 8:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. with rotating Saturdays 8:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. flexibility required, with no overtime unless approved by management.
• High school Diploma or GED Certificate.
• Basic math skills, Intermediate PC and typing skills, and the ability to count U.S. currency required.
• Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy required.
• Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate and work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner.
• Must enjoy customer interactions including actively looking for referral opportunities in a customer-centric manner.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and ability to lift 20 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions accurately and timely in a friendly and professional manner. The variety of transactions may be completed via the lobby, drive-thru, night-drop, mail, or ATM.
• Balance daily work and assigned cash drawer, and research differences where applicable.
• Actively listen to our customers, and communicate in a friendly, positive manner always, even in difficult situations.  Demonstrate quality customer service by incorporating the Legendary Service Standards.
• Recognize and interpret customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services ensuring recommendations are customer centric to meet the needs of the customer.  Make referrals to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services.  Actively participate in the branch sales program and goal achievement.
• Perform teller functions in accordance with established bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
