About The Position

Looking for a meaningful role working with children—with consistency and variety? Join our Kamaʻāina Kids ʻohana as a Floating Preschool Aide, supporting our Windward preschools in Kailua and Kāneʻohe.
In this unique role, you’ll be part of a small, supportive team that works across 3 nearby preschool locations, helping classrooms run smoothly wherever you’re needed most. One day you might be in Kailua, the next in Kāneʻohe—bringing your positive energy and care to different groups of keiki.
This role offers more consistent hours than a typical substitute role, higher pay for flexibility across locations, and variety in your day. You will support classrooms with daily routines, activities, and supervision, help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children, and build relationships with different teams and age groups.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Willing to travel between Kailua and Kāneʻohe locations
• Reliable and flexible with scheduling
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate)

Responsibilities

• Support classrooms with daily routines, activities, and supervision
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
• Build relationships with different teams and age groups
• Rotate between 3 preschools in the Windward area (Kailua & Kāneʻohe)
• Work approximately 20–40 hours per week based on program needs
