About The Position
The Regional Floating Pool Technician (Pharmacy Technician 2) will travel on-site and provide coverage and assistance as needed to Pharmacies in Palm Beach County (West Palm, Lantana, Delray, West Boca Raton). The Pharmacy Technician obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information.
Requirements
- Must have an active Pharmacy Technician registration/license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of Florida
- One or more years of experience as pharmacy technician OR any pharmacy related experience
- This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
- Must be able to work onsite at pharmacies in Palm Beach County (West Palm, Lantana, Delray, and West Boca Raton) as scheduled
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences

- Nationally Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
Responsibilities
- Work in different areas of pharmacy (Data Entry, Production, Cash Register, Phone calls (inbound and outbound) and other assignments as directed by the pharmacist
- Retrieve, count, and measure prescription drugs
- Assist Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of prescription drugs
- Access, input, and retrieve prescription information from computers
- Refer physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist
