About The Position

The Nurse Manager plays a key leadership role in the delivery of clinical services. The Nurse Manager oversees the nursing staff, ensures quality patient care, and manages administrative and regulatory responsibilities. As Floating Director of Nursing Services, you will assume authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of nursing services in the facility. You will be vital in the care given to residents by developing, maintaining, and implementing nursing policies and procedures that reflect current standards of nursing practice, company, and facility philosophy of care and practices while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Your role as Nurse Manager will require travel throughout the Ft.Wayne, IN and Surrounding area.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
  • Minimum of three years’ clinical experience in geriatric care coupled with a minimum of one year experience as a departmental manager in the skilled nursing setting.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.
  • Active Indiana RN license or LPN license
  • Demonstrated commitment to ASC’s C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, Excellence)
  • Willingness to travel within a 50-mile radius of your home
