About The Position

Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician to join their growing team across Tampa and Clearwater. This role involves performing daily repairs and upkeep across multiple properties, preparing vacant units for occupancy, managing and resolving service requests, maintaining compliance with OSHA and Clean Air Act, assisting with preventative maintenance, keeping common areas clean, managing tools and inventory, completing logs and reports, and participating in an on-call weekend rotation. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance and general repair experience
  • Proficiency in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repair
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and federal/state regulations
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Must own basic tools as permitted by state law
  • Valid Driver's License required (verified during background check)

Nice To Haves

  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II, or Universal Technician Certification, strongly preferred. (Company will sponsor and pay for EPA certification within the first 75 days if not already obtained.)

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily repairs and upkeep across multiple properties
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy quickly and to a high standard
  • Manage and resolve service requests with speed and professionalism
  • Maintain OSHA and Clean Air Act compliance at all times
  • Assist with preventative maintenance planning and execution
  • Keep buildings, grounds, and common areas clean and welcoming
  • Manage tools, equipment, and inventory with care
  • Complete required logs, reports, and training in a timely manner
  • Participate in the on-call weekend rotation
