About The Position

South Oxford Management is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Floating Leasing Professional to join their growing team in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This position is ideal for a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting multiple apartment communities while delivering exceptional customer service and leasing performance. The Floating Leasing Professional will travel between assigned communities throughout the DFW area to provide leasing support, assist with occupancy goals, and maintain a high standard of resident and prospect experience. Flexibility, professionalism, and strong leasing knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of apartment leasing experience required
  • Experience with property management software and CRM platforms preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • A sharp, professional appearance with a positive attitude
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different teams and communities
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to walk the property, which includes climbing stairs.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, reach, and carry supplies.
  • Stand for extended periods of time.
  • May be required to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, EXCEL, Outlook, etc.).
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of Yardi or other industry software preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist prospective residents in a professional and engaging manner
  • Conduct community tours and effectively present apartment homes and amenities
  • Manage inbound calls, emails, and follow-up communication with prospects
  • Process applications, lease paperwork, and move-in documentation accurately
  • Support onsite teams with resident relations and administrative tasks
  • Maintain knowledge of pricing, availability, and market conditions
  • Assist with social media campaigns, offsite marketing, and promotional events like open houses or call-a-thons
  • Utilize property management and CRM systems efficiently
  • Travel to various apartment communities throughout the DFW area as needed
  • Assist with occupancy, retention, and leasing goals
  • Assist Management with the preparation of marketing plans, goal boards, and motivating and training of leasing staff
