About The Position

At Towne Properties, a family-owned company since 1961, we are dedicated to creating Great Places to Live, Work, Shop & Play®. We are seeking a Floating Leasing Professional to join our Columbus Apartment District Office in Columbus, OH. This role offers a pay rate of up to $25 per hour, plus commissions, incentives, and bonus potential. As a Top Workplace, we support your growth and value your contributions. The office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm, with Saturdays potentially required.

Requirements

Experience in multifamily leasing, sales, or direct customer-facing roles
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a positive, professional attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required
Willingness to travel between communities as needed
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Ability to conduct market surveys and stay informed on local competition
Satisfactory background and MVR checks are required as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

Yardi experience preferred
Experience with property tours, lease processes, and application management preferred
Familiarity with social media platforms for marketing and engagement

Responsibilities

Show and lease apartments, assisting prospects through the application and move-in process.
Conduct tours, qualify applicants, and highlight community features and amenities.
Track leasing activity and follow-ups using Yardi and other systems.
Support renewals, marketing efforts, and maintain model units and property appearance.
Travel between communities to provide leasing support as needed.
