Floating Lead Teacher
About The Position
The Malvern School is seeking a Floating Lead Teacher for its Oaks, PA location. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. The role involves planning, supervising, and implementing an Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy. The teacher will maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class and communicate regularly with parents. Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
- An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
- An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.
Responsibilities
- Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
- Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
- Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
