About The Position
Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a dependable, flexible, and hardworking Floating Custodian to support custodial operations across multiple school locations within an assigned region. The role helps maintain facility cleanliness and ensure uninterrupted custodial services by covering employee absences, staffing shortages, open positions, and other operational needs. The Floating Custodian travels between assigned school locations and adapts to different facility requirements, schedules, and cleaning responsibilities. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. The position requires 50% travel between sites in the Greater Philadelphia Area and reliable transportation to reach various assigned work locations. The employee must be comfortable transitioning between first-shift and second-shift schedules as needed. Pay is USD $23.00–$25.00 per hour. Requirements
- Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school locations within an assigned territory; the role involves 50% travel between sites in the Greater Philadelphia Area.
- Reliable transportation to report to various assigned work locations.
- Flexible availability to accommodate changing schedules and operational needs, including transitioning between first-shift and second-shift schedules as needed.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attendance, punctuality, and dependability.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to different work environments.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies as needed.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and school clearances.

Responsibilities
- Travel between multiple assigned school locations to provide custodial coverage based on operational needs.
- Provide temporary coverage for employee call-outs, vacations, vacancies, and staffing shortages.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and disinfect assigned areas.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling throughout facilities.
- Restock restroom supplies and maintain adequate cleaning supplies in assigned areas.
- Operate custodial equipment and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with company safety procedures.
- Assist with floor care, deep cleaning, and special projects as assigned.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Follow school-specific procedures, company policies, and applicable safety guidelines.
- Communicate with District Managers, Account Managers, and on-site supervisors regarding staffing needs and facility conditions.
