About The Position

We’re hiring a Floater for a client in Houston, Texas. The role is temp to hire and pays $15.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position involves assembling and fulfilling customer orders, moving orders to packing or shipping, identifying materials, and recording and verifying inventory.

Requirements

• Experience operating RF scanners.
• Ability to accurately count and weigh items using calibrated scales.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets or in totes.
• Move orders to the packing station or shipping department.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed according to procedures.
• Weigh or count items with a calibrated scale to ensure they conform to standards.
• Use an RF scanner to fulfill orders.
