About The Position

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Floater Teacher to join our growing preschool community! Our goal is to inspire curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning in every child. As a Floater Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to create an engaging classroom where children can explore, question, and discover, design hands-on lessons that prepare students for kindergarten and beyond, foster strong relationships with families through communication and collaboration, and support each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth. This position is for a floating Pre K teacher. The job entails the candidate to be flexible in moving from room to room and helping in a variety of ways. They will help implement lesson plans, supervise children and assist with diapers and potty training depending on the room. They will also help cover lunch breaks.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
A passion for early childhood education and helping children learn and grow.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build a positive classroom environment.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities
