About The Position
The Learning Experience – Dedham is hiring a Certified Early Childhood Floater Teacher to support our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms. This is a perfect role for a versatile, experienced childcare or preschool teacher who enjoys working with different age groups and making an impact throughout the school. You will play a key role in maintaining classroom quality, supporting ratio coverage, and ensuring consistent, high-quality early learning experiences.
Requirements
- Massachusetts EEC certification for Infant, Toddler, and Preschool required
- Experience working in a licensed childcare, daycare, or preschool center
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- Reliable, flexible, and confident working with multiple age groups
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support across Infant, Toddler, and Preschool rooms
- Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and program flow
- Implement developmentally appropriate, play-based activities
- Support daily routines including meals, naps, transitions, and learning activities
- Maintain safe, clean, and engaging classroom environments
- Partner with teachers and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow all Massachusetts EEC health, safety, and licensing standards
