Floater Facilities Maintenance Technician
About The Position
We are seeking a Floater Facilities Maintenance Technician who is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.). This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position, reporting to the Facilities Supervisor. Site is near S. Post Oak Rd. and Beltway 8. The successful candidate will be responsible for plumbing, electrical, access control and HVAC maintenance as well as any other duties assigned by the Facilities Supervisor. We’re looking for a professional who can take the initiative and help anticipate problems before they occur. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with on clients.
Requirements
- Ability to perform routine building maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in one or more fields such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing.
- Ability to perform plumbing, electrical, access control, and HVAC maintenance.
- Ability to take initiative and anticipate problems.
- Effective communication skills with clients.
