About The Position

Interstate, a family-owned national janitorial and maintenance company, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to provide coverage at a client site. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently, and a team player. The role supports clean, healthy, and safe environments across client facilities.

The cleaner must be available to cover shifts from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with two hours’ notice. Pay is $15.00 per hour. Duties may include other tasks related to the position and may be modified or amended.

Requirements

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to submit to a background check.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, sanitize, and disinfect bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Dust and wet mop floors.
• Remove trash and replace trash can liners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
