About The Position

Gateway Diagnostic Imaging is seeking an experienced, patient care-oriented professional X-Ray Technologist to float to our Keller, Fort Worth, and South Fort Worth locations. This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. The X-Ray Technologist ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT (R) registered (or registry-eligible, if applicable)
State licensure as required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and patient care skills

Nice To Haves

Current BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, fluoroscopy and bone density in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues promptly
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
