About The Position
This role is responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and play. The Float Teacher brings a sense of warmth, patience, and understanding to the classroom daily, overseeing the overall supervision and daily class functions for a group of children. This position involves cultivating positive relationships with children, families, teachers, and staff, as well as implementing the school curriculum and assessing the developmental needs of students.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid TB skin test
- Valid Proof of MMR
- Valid Proof of Covid Vaccine or Approved Exemption
- Valid food handlers permit
- Valid first aid and CPR card
- Child Care Basics (30 Hours Course)
- Initial Certificate or Equivalent (Within 5 Years)
