About The Position

Under the direction of the Families Forward Clinical Coordinator, performs a wide variety of secretarial and support tasks. This role requires proficiency in computer use, particularly Excel. Duties include investigating, organizing, and summarizing data for Families Forward, taking meeting notes, and supporting the front desk. Responsibilities also involve screening calls, assisting visitors, processing reimbursements, coordinating intake paperwork, managing workflow and tracking for programming, organizing new hire packets and training materials, and scheduling meetings. The position is responsible for carrying out all activities in a manner that fulfills the CMHA-CEI mission, policies, and procedures. Requirements

  • Possession of a High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency required.
  • A minimum of two years secretarial experience or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to pass a Microsoft Word and Excel exam with a proficient score.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word is required.
  • Knowledge and experience of Excel is required.
  • The ability to gain proficiency in Smartcare, the agency software that tracks statistical data, services rendered and bill for services is required.
  • Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules meetings.
  • Carries out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI mission, policies and procedures.
