About The Position

The Sales and Service Representative is responsible for processing transactions and other customer service requests in the branch. Facilitates customer awareness and education of bank capabilities, tools, and resources. Supports the sales efforts of a branch team by identifying and referring sales opportunities to the appropriate bank partner. This is a float position and will require travel to provide coverage to branches in the following areas: Warrenton (home branch), Henderson, Spring Hope, and Williamston depending on staffing need. Mileage will be reimbursed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
6 months customer service experience
Financial literacy
Knowledge of retail banking products and services
Branch Banking Operations
Communication (Written and Verbal)
Transaction Processing
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Position requires frequent driving to other offices, bank customers, etc.

Complete required training by established deadlines.
Perform general office management duties as assigned to ensure operational efficiency.
Associates in roles defined to take deposits are accountable for transaction accuracy and operational efficiency of that function.
The results may include an accountability for individual contribution as well as team performance.
