About The Position

Seeking Registered Nurse! Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care, Float Team PRN, Midshift. In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers in an ER/Urgent Care setting. Also in this role, the RN will float between southern Indiana and Kentucky freestanding EDs including Jefferson Ridge, Blankenbaker, and the future Glenmary location. This hybrid emergency room and urgent care provides both types of care to patients conveniently under one roof. Patients will receive the appropriate level of care in a simple, cost effective one-stop location. The emergency room will provide care on a 24/7 basis with transport services available to handle high-acuity emergency situations needing surgery. Nurses at this location will have a background or training in emergency care. On-site imaging and laboratory services are also available. Requirements

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• PALS required within 12 months of hire.
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous ER experience preferred.
