About The Position

The Float Registered Nurse works through the Clinical Staffing Center and may be assigned to any inpatient unit throughout the hospital. Potential units include Mother/Baby, Heart & Kidney, General Med-Surg, Psych Med Unit, Critical Care, Neuro Trauma, Oncology & Bariatric Surgery, and Senior Care. The facility is Magnet designated and has active shared decision-making councils. The organization strives to improve outcomes and provide exceptional experiences for patients, staff, and the community.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program.
• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan.
• Experience as a registered nurse required.
• In Grand Rapids, nurses with an ADN must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete it within 4 years of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
