About The Position

This position is part of a Medical-Surgical Float Pool , providing staffing support across multiple inpatient Med-Surg units. The ideal RN is highly adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable delivering safe, high-quality bedside care in a fast-paced acute care environment .

Requirements

• 1 year of RECENT acute care Medical-Surgical RN experience (within the last year) – REQUIRED
• Must currently be working in a Med-Surg unit
• Willing and able to float between multiple Med-Surg units
• Active Florida RN license or Compact Multistate RN license
• Compact RNs must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start
• AHCA Level 2 background screening and fingerprinting required
• Must live within a commutable distance
• Must be comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• ONLY Medical-Surgical experience is accepted

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and sound clinical decision-making
• Deliver direct patient care across multiple Medical-Surgical units
• Advocate for patients and families while maintaining confidentiality
• Provide plan-based nursing care with a focus on safety and quality outcomes
• Adapt quickly to different units, teams, workflows, and patient populations
