About The Position

This position is for a Med-Surg RN in a small, acute care hospital environment. You will care for adult patients across a general medical-surgical unit while collaborating closely with physicians and the care team. Requirements

• 1 year of Acute Care RN experience (required)
• Active Florida RN license or compact multistate license
• Compact nurses must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating
• Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
• BLS required within 30 days of start

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments on admission and throughout each shift
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner
• Respond to patient needs and provide bedside support
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and care plans
