About The Position

The Float Pool Nurse Manager provides leadership and oversight for the Float Pool team, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care across multiple inpatient units. This role is responsible for staffing, team development, operational excellence, and supporting caregivers while maintaining flexibility to meet the changing needs of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
• Three years of recent clinical experience and three years of management experience at the Charge Nurse level or higher.
• Expertise in commonly used computer software usage and ability to learn new computer programs quickly required.
• Competence in professional nursing practice including teaching, leadership and management skills required.
• Excellent clinical/critical thinking skills, organizational, analytical, fiscal, and customer service skills required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.

• Recent experience in specialty preferred.
