About The Position

The Float Pool LPN supports clinical care delivery in hospital-based outpatient departments and physician practices. Under the direction of an RN or medical provider, the LPN provides designated clinical care and assists with healthcare services according to established policies and protocols. Duties may include obtaining specimens, conducting routine laboratory studies, and supporting administrative functions. The role also performs front-desk clerical and administrative duties under the direction of the Practice Manager/Director, Site Manager, or Office Coordinator. The LPN floats to other locations as assigned based on business needs and performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• At least one year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Three to five years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a pediatric setting, physician's office, or Federally Qualified Health Center.
• Two to three years of experience working within a complex health system environment.

Responsibilities
