Part Time Float Pharmacist
About The Position
Genoa Healthcare is seeking a part-time Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with processing prescriptions. The position guarantees 24 hours per week and requires 100% travel among six pharmacy sites to cover pharmacists’ paid time off and leaves of absence. Sites include locations in Boise, Ammon, and Nampa, Idaho, and potentially Ontario, Oregon, if the candidate is willing. Pharmacies are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Genoa Healthcare is a pharmacy care services company within Optum and UnitedHealth Group. It works with behavioral health and addiction treatment communities as part of coordinated care teams, providing services such as in-clinic pharmacies and medication management to help people with complex health conditions obtain and follow their medication plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Current pharmacist license in the state of Oregon.
- Immunization Certification Certificate.
- Driver’s license and car insurance.

Responsibilities
- Distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
- Provide customers with information about medications and their use.
- Provide a superior level of customer service.
- Ensure compliance with applicable State Board of Pharmacy laws.
- Administer immunizations as permitted by State Boards of Pharmacy.
- Perform other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
- Travel among assigned pharmacy sites to cover pharmacists’ paid time off and leaves of absence.
