About The Position

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) is seeking a Float Nurse Practitioner for its Webb City Clinic. This role involves providing primary healthcare, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and counseling. The Nurse Practitioner will work under the direct supervision of a physician, adhering to established guidelines and scope of practice. The position requires travel between the Webb City, Mount Vernon, and Carthage Clinics.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License
• Current Nurse Practitioner License
• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program
• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or certification eligible (must be obtained within the first six (6) months of employment)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (recertification required before expiration throughout employment)

Responsibilities

• Providing primary healthcare to patients and families
• Focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and counseling
• Working under the direct supervision of a physician
• Following established guidelines as required and within established scope of practice
• Traveling between Webb City, Mount Vernon, and Carthage Clinics
