Float MRI Technologist 35 hours M-F days

About The Position

This is a full-time, 35-hour position, Monday through Friday, with day shifts. The role involves floating between the hospital's main campus and the Quarry Walk location. The ideal candidate is an experienced, board-certified MRI technologist capable of working independently. Responsibilities include ensuring patient, family, and staff safety within the MRI environment, maintaining MRI quality metrics related to The Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies, and adhering to American College of Radiology MRI accreditation standards. The technologist will also support operations in an outpatient imaging center and assist the x-ray department at Quarry Walk as needed.

Requirements

• ARRT(R)(MR) required.
• CPR required.
• CT State license required.
• Minimum one (1) year experience required.
• Venipuncture and IV skills required.
• Ability to function under pressure of time demands.
• Position requires the ability to concentrate on details in spite of interruptions and attend to tasks for more than 30 minutes at a time.

Nice To Haves

• BS degree preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of patients, families and staff within an MRI environment.
• Responsible for MRI quality metrics as they pertain to the Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies.
• Responsible for metrics and quality outcomes associated with American College of Radiology MRI accreditation standards.
• Has multicredentialed status to work in an outpatient imaging center to support operations.
• Individual shall work to provide support to the x-ray department at Quarry Walk as needed.
