About The Position

CenterWell is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced – Float Medical Assistant - who is interested in growing with the company and being a part of something great! This is a FLOAT position and will require you to work between offices as business needs require. Mileage will be reimbursed for travel between clinics. Join our dedicated outpatient team at the Regency Centre clinic, where patient-centered care is our top priority. In this role you will directly report to the Center Administrator and play an important part in delivering high-quality clinical support to our Patients.

Requirements

• Successful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 3+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR Certified
• Meet patient-facing role requirements, including participation in our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• At least 1 year of MA experience
• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories, discuss symptoms, and record vital signs
• Administer medications and vaccines following protocols
• Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens
• Prepare and maintain clean, sterile examination and equipment
• Document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
