About The Position

SynergenX | Low T Center | HerKare, leading providers of hormone replacement and targeted wellness services, are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to join our team! This is a great opportunity to jump-start your career in the medical field. Our Medical Assistants work alongside leaders in hormone replacement therapy and weight management. We offer two weeks of paid training and great benefits! No certification or license is required. We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual for a Float Medical Assistant position in Tennessee. This position will support our Hendersonville, Chattanooga, and Murfreesboro clinic locations. The role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel between locations as needed. A Medical Assistant is responsible for providing treatment to patients and creating a positive patient experience. This role also supports day-to-day lab operations, which must be completed with knowledge, accuracy, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must be flexible with late hours and some weekends, have a friendly attitude, and enjoy interacting with providers and patients. Basic computer skills are required.

Requirements

  • Must be flexible and willing to travel between the Hendersonville, Chattanooga, and Murfreesboro clinic locations as needed.
  • Physical proof of high school diploma or GED required.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 months of relevant work experience in a medical setting or documented completion of 180 externship hours.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must be flexible with clinic hours, including late shifts and up to 3 Saturdays per month. When you work a Saturday, you will have a weekday off.
  • Basic computer skills are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
  • Ability to perform venipuncture and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual vitals, routine blood draws, and administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections per the provider’s request.
  • Maintain lab equipment, documentation of lab results, and quality controls.
  • Run labs in-house or prepare labs to be sent to another facility with the proper orders for each patient.
  • Complete weekly inventory, ordering, and communication as needed.
  • Assist with front desk duties when needed.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and a positive, patient-focused attitude.
