The Float Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of youth and/or adult resources homes, which will include providing temporary and transitional leadership coverage across multiple youth and/or adult resource homes, ensuring a trauma-informed and person-centred approach for both persons served and employees. As a member of the leadership team, the Float Manager supports day-to-day operations, maintains communication with natural and paid stakeholders, and ensures adherence to CARF standards, funder requirements, licensing regulations, and organizational policies and procedures while covering Program Manager absences, vacancies, or periods of increased operational demand. This position is based in Kamloops; however, the incumbent may be required to travel to and/or stay in the Kelowna, Vernon, and Terrace regions as operational needs arise. All such travel will be expensed by the company. This position may include transporting persons served; therefore, a valid Class 5 British Columbia driver’s license is required. As a Service Delivery position, all work must be performed on-site.
